Inbox Senders Club
A songbook of email deliverability parody songs. DMARC, spam traps, IP warmup, sender reputation — all explained through the music of AC/DC, Metallica, Eminem, Nirvana, Coolio, and others who had no say in the matter.
It started with Uberduck and a deliverability rap
In April 2023, AI text-to-speech was having its moment. Uberduck had just launched voice impersonation features — you could type lyrics and have them performed in the voice of famous artists. The obvious application was a rap about email deliverability.
The first song was called DeliveRAPility. It covered bounces, engagement, authentication, complaints — everything that makes deliverability genuinely hard — set to a rap beat, performed by a voice that sounded nothing like a deliverability consultant. It landed. More followed.
In October 2025, with AI tools considerably more capable and a long backlog of unwritten deliverability content, the project started again in earnest. What began as a novelty became something closer to a passion — and Inbox Senders Club became a proper songbook.

Deliverability is the kryptonite of the email marketer. The moment something goes wrong — open rates tanking, emails landing in spam, a blocklisting — most people don't want to look at it. They want an expert on deck. Because the subject feels like a black box: technical, opaque, and full of acronyms that sound made up until they're the reason your campaign flopped.
Meanwhile, LinkedIn is flooded with deliverability takes — a significant portion of them coming from the cold email industry, which has its own relationship with best practices. The result is a lot of confident, widely-shared advice that ranges from incomplete to actively harmful for anyone running a legitimate email program.
Music works differently than a whitepaper or a LinkedIn carousel. A song you hear twice sticks. You don't memorise a checklist, but you remember a chorus. If the chorus happens to explain what a feedback loop is, that's useful — and considerably harder to forget than slide 14 of a deliverability deck.
Every track in the songbook comes with a deliverability case study unpacking the real concepts behind the lyrics, and a best practices checklist you can use immediately. No form. No email required. Just click and read.

Inbox Senders Club is the side project. The songs cover the same topics as the day job, but with better production values and significantly more Metallica references.
